Sir Ian Botham Adelaide Hills Chardonnay
£42.50This wine was made by Sir Ian at The Lane Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, from some of the finest fruits that Sir Ian has ever seen.
This is a remarkable wine with a noble feel, serious complexity, and an immense finish.
The colour is a Brilliant white gold with orange blossom, white peach, and hints of almond which are combined with complex toasty oak aromas to deliver a bouquet of depth and intrigue.
It has Beautifully luscious, full-bodied aromas on the nose which follow through to the palate with opulent white peach, grapefruit, and lemon myrtle blending with fine acidity and well-integrated oak. This is a wine of structure and elegance and will develop gracefully as it ages.
This Sir Ian Botham Chardonnay has just been listed in the Matthew Jukes top 100 wines of Australia 2019/2010 which is a tremendous Accolade.

£42.50Lord Botham has made his Barossa Valley Shiraz in the style that the Barossa is world-famous for, it is robust and full-bodied with a firm yet fine tannin finish.
The Shiraz has an intense colour which is an attractive deep ruby-purple. On the nose, it is rich plum, complex mocha – chocolate and spicy fruit with integrated light vanillin oak and a hint of anise.
The Sir Ian Shiraz is soft and full flavoured with lengthy fine-grain tannins. The flavours of fruity spice, coffee, chocolate and blackberry carry through onto the lengthy and persistent palate.Drinking well now but this will evolve beautifully over the next 5-8 years. Decant before serving.

It has the intense colour of dark blood red with ruby and garnet hues. The aromas of this delicious wine immediately announce the variety and display intense characters of blackcurrant, red berry, black olive, and a subtle hint of menthol. Combined with the nutty oak aromas, this wine delivers a complex yet elegant bouquet.
This wine will continue to develop in the bottle if cellared carefully and will drink well for up to 12 years from vintage.
