Sir Ian Botham Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Sir Ian made this Cabernet true to the style of the Coonawarra region and carries all the distinctive characteristics of a high-quality new world Cabernet Sauvignon.

It has the intense colour of dark blood red with ruby and garnet hues. The aromas of this delicious wine immediately announce the variety and display intense characters of blackcurrant, red berry, black olive, and a subtle hint of menthol. Combined with the nutty oak aromas, this wine delivers a complex yet elegant bouquet.

This wine will continue to develop in the bottle if cellared carefully and will drink well for up to 12 years from vintage.

The Cabernet Sauvignon has just won gold at the Prestigious  Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters 2020

Tasting Notes

Sir Ian Botham Coonawarra Cabernet 2014

Sir Ian Botham is arguably one of the greatest cricketers that England has ever produced.  Known as an all-rounder of the sport, his bowling skills were as feared by opponents as his batting triumphs were rejoiced by his team-mates and country.

For the last 40 years, Sir Ian has been nurturing one of his other great passions in life – wine and the art of making it.  He now brings you this range of first-class wines from one of his favorite wine-producing countries, Australia.
